CCTV and speed radars.

Portugal has no single public registry of surveillance cameras: police CCTV is governed by Law 95/2021 and authorised system by system. Only two cities publish location data: 243 traffic-management CCTV cameras in Porto and 21 municipal radars in Lisbon. Nationally, ANSR runs 123 fixed SINCRO speed cameras.

What the open data covers

These points are traffic cameras and municipal radars, not the security forces' surveillance network, which is not published as geocoded data. Public-space CCTV is authorised case by case by the government, overseen by the CNPD, and published as despachos in the Diário da República. So this map is partial coverage, not a national inventory.
